My Rainbow Sister!
For all those who choose to judge others for who they love, listen......
I’ve been the victim of domestic violence, men who chose to use emotional, mental and physical violence to control my life, my children and me. I've had people tell me to "suck it up", "deal with it", "get over it" or my fave "What did YOU do to cause him to treat you this way?"
And all through my pain and suffering, my dear
est, amazing, beautiful sister has been there to pick up the shattered pieces, to guide me, and comfort me with never-ending love, compassion, kindness and unwavering belief in me. Because of her, I’ve faced down the devil and risen out of the ashes with more sparkle, courage and strength than I could have ever wished for. She is the one who has wiped away a thousand tears, and encouraged me to not give up on love, that someday I may find that one man who will treat me with the love & respect I deserve. And I wish the same for her, that she will find that one woman.....
So, go ahead and thump your bibles, revolt, eat where you please, judge me, hate me & tell me to go to hell, because without question, I will stand proud next to my lesbian sister, to support her and show her I possess the infinite courage & unconditional love for her that GOD himself placed in my heart!
If you cannot accept that, then feel free to delete me, because there is nothing and no one on this Earth who will ever dare tell me that the God hates my sister! LOVE YOU RENEE' to INFINITY!!!!
